I wanted to continue the project of doing occasional 'themed' electronic pieces following '1980'. For '1981' I wanted to get a photograph of someone who was born in that year and Kate Sayer reminded me that her son and my friend Alexis who passed away recently was a born that year. Leki and I had a shared interest in electronic soundtracks, it was common musical ground. I hope he would have liked at least one of the tracks here (if not he'd have been too polite to say so). I have decided that any and all money made from this track I am going to donate to the Mind Charity (mind.org.uk). It is a relevant cause and a good one.
